I used your modified ppd file to prind in draft mode, and it worked perfectly!

But, if I used UBUNTU 64bit, I can’t use these files.
Is there any way to change these files ao that they would be used in a 64bit systems?

thank you tantos for this post, it helped me with my canon iP1900.

Question: is there a way to change print settings (dpi, grayscale, quality) from within the print menu of an application (i.e Openoffice, Firefox, whatever)? The only way I can change those settings is from the printer properties in System -> Settings -> Printers. Its very embarassing! Is there a way to do this or is it a driver limitation? Thanks in advance!
